Graphic Designer

Job Overview:

We view graphic design as a form of visual storytelling that captivates, educates, and motivates. We seek a creative and adaptable graphic designer who can transform ideas and concepts into compelling visual formats for print and digital media.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in the latest design software and adept in all stages of the design process, from initial concept to final output. Working closely with various teams throughout the company, the graphic designer should be capable of translating verbal or written ideas and conceptual opinions into impactful designs.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with multiple teams or clients on a wide range of materials that may include presentations, program collateral, signage, internal communications, newsletters, and other marketing materials
• Translate strategic direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity
• Develop concepts with software and execute original content by determining the ideal usage of color, text, font style, imagery, and layout
• Manage the design and uploading process for all project materials, based on best practices
• Use trend intelligence and knowledge of historical and current markets when designing and executing specific classifications

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in a professional setting with design software, including Photoshop, InDesign, Canva, and Powerpoint
• Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Desire to continue building skill set with education and training
• Knowledge of Illustrator and Excel is a plus

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in graphic design, art, or related discipline

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
